Visa Requirements

Angolan nationals must secure a Medical Visa before traveling to India for healthcare services. Based on the nature and duration of your treatment, there are two types of medical visas available:

• Regular Medical Visa: Best suited for comprehensive or long-duration treatments. Must be applied for through the Embassy of India in Luanda.

   

• e-Medical Visa: Ideal for short-term treatment and can be applied for online without visiting the embassy.

Visa Invitation

To begin your visa application, you’ll need an official Medical Invitation Letter from a registered hospital in India.

Eligible for E Visa

Citizens of Angola are eligible for the Indian e-Medical Visa

E Visa Fees

USD 80

Regular Visa Fees

• Regular Medical Visa: USD 80
• Medical Attendant Visa: USD 80

Visa Duration

• e-Medical Visa: Valid for 60 days from the date of arrival in India and allows triple entry within this timeframe.
• Regular Medical Visa: Usually issued for up to 6 months or as per your medical requirements. Can be extended by the FRRO/FRO in India, based on hospital reports and doctor recommendations.

E Visa Application

Required documents: Personal details, passport copy, recent photograph, and hospital invitation letter.

After paying the visa fee, the approved visa is emailed. It is valid for up to 6 months.

e-Medical Visa:

After paying the visa fee, the approved visa will be emailed and is valid for up to 60 days.​
