Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Gupta is a renowned hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeon with over 39 years of expertise and is regarded as one of India’s leading gastroenterologists. He is widely recognized for pioneering the concept of Living Donor Liver Transplantation (LDLT) in India, having done over 350 successful LDLT procedures. Dr. Gupta is the Chairman of the Max Centre for Liver and Biliary Sciences, one of the world’s largest liver transplant centers, having performed over 3000 transplants. He has written extensively on numerous aspects of LDLT in indexed journals, exhibiting his knowledge of the subject.
