Dr. Nitin Kumar Prashkar is a well-known and renowned Interventional Cardiologist .
With 11 years of experience in interventional cardiology, he has successfully performed over 12,000 therapeutic cardiac interventions.
His core competencies include coronary angioplasties, permanent pacemaker implantations, AICDs, biventricular pacemakers, and atrial septal defect device closure procedures.
Dr. Nitin completed his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi University in 2013 and MD in Medicine from PGIMER, Chandigarh, India in 2016.
After this, he completed his DM in Cardiology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2020.
He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology Trivandrum.
Dr. Parashar has published more than 30 papers in internationally renowned journals and has authored a book titled “Review of Cardiology” to help train doctors preparing for cardiology as a superspecialty branch.
He has presented his research at international conferences, including the American College of Cardiology (ACC), the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and the Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society (APHRS).
He is an active member of the Indian Heart Rhythm Society (IHRS) and the Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society (APHRS) and continues to present his research, give talks, and hold symposiums for the active learning of young cardiologists.
