Dr. Kapil’s specialty interests encompass a wide range of Surgical Oncology areas, including Thoracic and Gastrointestinal (GI) oncology, Breast Cancer treatment, and Limb Salvage Surgery, reflecting his dedication to addressing complex cancer cases with precision and care.
Notably, Dr. Kapil played a pivotal role in establishing the Robotic Surgery department at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, demonstrating his commitment to integrating innovative techniques into cancer care.
Since 2005, he has also been actively involved in educating the next generation of medical professionals as a teacher for the DNB Surgical Oncology program, sharing his expertise and experience with aspiring oncologists.
He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Guru Nanak Dev University.
After this, he completed fellowship FICS and Training in Laparoscopic Surgery and HIPEC.
