Dr. K K Saxena is one of India’s leading Interventional Cardiologists with a distinguished career spanning 44 years.
He is skilled in a variety of diagnostic, clinical, and interventional cardiology procedures, including treadmill exercise testing, Holter monitoring, nuclear studies (MUGA and thallium scanning), and echocardiography (2D, Doppler, color flow mapping, and esophageal).
His specialized interventional cardiology areas include procedures such as pulmonary valve interventions, balloon dilation of the mitral valve, coarctation of the aorta, and treatments for renal and peripheral artery diseases, along with both temporary and permanent pacemaker implantations.
Dr. Saxena has independently conducted numerous cardiac catheterizations for both pediatric and adult patients.
He completed his MBBS from Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 1980, followed by an MD in Medicine from the same university in 1983, a DM in Cardiology from Mangalore University, Karnataka in 1987, and a Research Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
He has published numerous research papers in journals like Indian Heart Journal.
