He obtained his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.
After this, he completed his MCh in Urology from AIIMS, New Delhi in 1984.
He is well-versed in performing one of the largest personal series of PCNL in North India with nearly 4,000 procedures and conducting 300 renal transplants.
