• Dr. Abhinandan Mukhopadhyay is a renowned and leading Urologist.
• He has over 17 years of experience in this field.
• He is highly skilled in addressing a wide range of urologic problems, including kidney stone disease, male sexual problems, infertility, diseases of the prostate, complex reconstructive procedures for urethral stricture, and urological cancer surgeries, showcasing his versatile proficiency in urology.
• Dr. Abhinandan completed his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College in 2007.
• After this, he completed his MS in General Surgery and MCh in Urology from PGIMER Chandigarh in 2012 and 2016, respectively.
• Dr. Abhinandan participated in over 300 robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgeries for urological cancers and complex reconstructive procedures, demonstrating his adeptness in advanced surgical techniques.
• After completing his super-speciality training, he joined GGS Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot, Punjab, as faculty, where he established the Department of Urology and extensively contributed to the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, performing more than 600 major urological surgeries over two and a half years.

• Dr. Abhinandan won the 2nd Prize in the CMC Ludhiana Prize Poster Category at North Zone USICON 2015 in Srinagar for his study on "Alterations in Bone Mineral Density Amongst Adults with Staghorn Stone Disease: A Prospective Study."
• He secured the 2nd Prize in the Best Video Category at Agra Urology Club, North Zone USICON 2016, for his video on "Robot-Assisted Partial Nephrectomy in a Posteriorly Located Tumor; Tips and Tricks."
• Dr. Abhinandan was awarded the Best Poster Prize at East Zone USICON 2016 in Imphal for his work on "Restage TURBT in Nonmuscle Invasive Bladder Cancer: Our Experience."
• He presented an international paper titled "The Clinical Significance of Restage TURBT for Nonmuscle Invasive Bladder Cancer in the Indian Scenario" at the 22nd NCCN Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, in 2017 and another paper on "The Evaluation and Outcome of a New Intravesical BCG Protocol for Nonmuscle Invasive Bladder Cancer in a Tertiary Care Center in India" at the ESMO Asia Annual Conference in Singapore, in 2017.
• Dr. Abhinandan established the Urology Department at GGS Medical College, Faridkot, Punjab, where he performed uro-oncologic surgeries such as Radical Cystectomy with ileal conduit, Partial Nephrectomy, and Radical Prostatectomy for the first time and introduced endo-urological procedures like PCNL and reconstructive surgeries like Progressive Perineal Urethroplasty and Buccal Mucosal Graft Urethroplasty.
