- Between 2015 and 2020, he worked in a private hospital in Ankara and later continued his services through his own private practice until 2020, after which he joined Hisar Intercontinental Hospital.
- In 2015, he chaired Turkey’s first course on ‘Fluorescent Imaging in Urological Surgeries’ and has since led multiple national courses and multidisciplinary training programs under Urology Associations.
- He pioneered Bipolar Prostate Enucleation for BPH in Turkey in 2017 and has since advanced his expertise in HOLEP and THUFLEP procedures.
- Dr. Acar has performed over 500 urological cancer surgeries, more than 250 HOLEP procedures, numerous robotic/laparoscopic surgeries, and countless endoscopic stone treatments.
- He is associated with many medical societies including the International Young Urologists Association (Founding Board Member), the Minimal Invasive Urological Surgery Association (Supervisory Board Member), the European Association of Urology, the Turkish Urology Association, the Urological Surgery Association, the Urooncology Association, the Endourology Association, and the Continence Association
