Dr. Hitesh completed his MBBS from AIIMS in 2001 and MS in Orthopedics from KEM College, Mumbai in 2007.
Dr. Garg has a strong academic interest, publishing numerous papers nationally and internationally and contributing chapters to world-renowned books on spine surgery.
Over his career, Dr. Garg has successfully performed more than 5000 spine surgeries, including over 2500 spinal fusions (TLIF, ACDF), 1000 deformity correction procedures for scoliosis and kyphosis, 300 lumbar and cervical artificial disc replacements, 500 fracture treatments, and 500 other complex surgeries, such as spinal tumor removal, congenital defect corrections, and spino-pelvic fixations.
He employs the latest cutting-edge technology during surgeries, such as Neuromonitoring, O-arm, Navigation, modular operation theaters, and microscopes, achieving a high success rate of nearly 98 percent.
He has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgeries, motion-preserving spine surgeries, cranio-vertebral and cervical spine surgeries, and deformity correction procedures for scoliosis and kyphosis.
Dr. Hitesh Garg received the “Atal Swasthya Bhushan Samman 2019” from Shri Om Birla, Honourable Speaker of India.
He was honored with the Healthcare Today Excellence Award for “Best Spine Surgeon of the Year, 2018” and the Merit Award and Market Research Healthcare Award for “Best Spine Surgeon in Delhi NCR” in 2017.
In 2015, Dr. Garg was awarded the Primetime “Global Healthcare Excellence Award” for “Best Spine Surgeon in Gurgaon,” and he received the Dr. Pandurangi Award for the “Best Orthopaedic Resident” for 2006-07 at KEM Hospital and Seth G S Medical College, Mumbai.
He is also associated with many medical societies including the Delhi Spine Society, the Association Of Spine Surgeons Of India, the Gurgaon Orthopaedic Society, and the Indian Orthopaedic Association.
