Dr. (Lt. Gen.) Ajit Singh Narula is a distinguished and highly experienced nephrologist.
With over 47 years of experience, has worked extensively in the Armed Forces Hospital and Fortis Group of Hospitals.
He specializes in kidney stone treatment, hemodialysis, hemodiafiltration (HDF), insulin therapy, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) management.
Dr. Narula completed his MBBS from Madras University, and MD from the University of Pune.
After this, he completed his DM in Nephrology from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
He has served as a Senior Adviser and consultant in Medicine and Nephrology to the Armed Forces, and was a professor and Head of Department at AFMC, Pune.
As a postgraduate teacher and examiner, he has been involved in medical education and has served as Honorary Surgeon to the President of India, receiving Presidential Awards for his exceptional service.
Dr. (Lt. Gen.) Ajit Singh Narula has received several prestigious awards, including the Best Officer Award and DGAFMS Silver Medal for his professional and administrative excellence.
He was honored with the Vishisht Seva Medal in 2010, the Aram Vishisht Seva Medal in 2014 for exceptional service, and the President’s Honorary Surgeon title in 2014.
He has received numerous academic awards in Nephrology and has been a guest faculty member at international conferences.
Dr. Narula has over 92 publications in national and international journals and co-authors several notable books, including those on renal transplant and environmental toxins.
