Dr. Dinesh Kumar Mittal is a Cardio Thoracic Vascular Surgeon with over 30 years of experience in the field.
He has performed over 5,000 cardiac surgeries for both adults and children.
His expertise includes CABG (both beating heart and on-pump), aortic and mitral valve replacements, mitral valve repairs, ASD and VSD closures, TOF corrections, coarctation repairs, and Blalock-Taussig shunts.
He is skilled in complex congenital operations and the implantation of permanent pacemakers in children, as well as peripheral vascular surgeries.
Dr. Mittal established the Neonatal Cardiac Surgery Program at Max Hospital Shalimar Bagh.
He played a key role in creating North India’s most extensive AORTIC intervention program.

He also holds a Fellowship in Endovascular Stenting from Milan, Italy.
