He has over 20 years of experience in this field.
His expertise encompasses various types of chemotherapy, including targeted therapies, immunotherapies, hormone therapy, intraperitoneal therapy, intrathecal therapy, and intensive treatment protocols.
He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) and his MD in Medicine from Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC).
Driven by the belief that cancer care is possible, he pursued further training in Medical Oncology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute. He treats both solid and hematological malignancies, with a keen focus on breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, hepatobiliary carcinomas, and lymphoma.
Recognizing unawareness and myths as significant barriers to cancer treatment, Dr. Agarwal founded the ‘Stop Cancer’ initiative. This program includes lectures and continuing medical education (CME) sessions at national and international levels, along with patient assistance programs.
He has received European certification in Medical Oncology (ECMO) from the European Society of Medical Oncologists and has been honored by the CD Foundation for his outstanding contributions to cancer care.
Dr. Agarwal is actively involved in clinical cancer research and has obtained a professional diploma in clinical research. He also serves as a faculty member, teaching medical students specializing in medical oncology and guiding their theses.
He has participated as a speaker, panelist, and chairperson at numerous national and international cancer conferences and has published multiple research papers in both national and international journals.
