Dr. Rajiv Parakh is a Peripheral Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with over 43 years of experience.
His expertise includes Endovascular Interventions, Endovascular Repair of Aneurysms, Carotid Surgery, Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, and Vascular Trauma.
He completed his MBBS (1981) and MS in General Surgery (1986) at G B Pant Hospital / Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.
Dr. Parakh earned his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in the UK in 1987 and specialized in Vascular Surgery there.
In 1990, he established one of India’s first independent Vascular Surgery Departments.
He co-founded the Vascular Society of India and the Endo-vascular Intervention Society of India.
Dr. Parakh served as Secretary of the International Society for Vascular Surgery in New York, USA, in 2007.
He pioneered the first government-recognized teaching program in vascular surgery accredited by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
He holds a Life Membership with the Society of Vascular Surgery.
His keen interest in research resulted in the publication of numerous research paper in reputed national and international journal.
