Dr. Amit Mittal is a highly skilled Gastroenterologist and GI Endoscopist
With over 21 years of experience, he specializes in the treatment of various gastrointestinal disorders.
He has expertise in treating diseases including liver cirrhosis, alcoholic liver disease, fatty liver, Hepatitis B & C, pancreatitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, GI ulcers, GI cancers, and IBS.
He has performed more than 10,000 GI endoscopies and is proficient in a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including Upper GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Enteroscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, ERCP, and EUS.
Dr. Mittal completed his MBBS at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, followed by DNB in General Medicine from St. Stephen’s Hospital, Delhi, and DNB in Gastroenterology from P.S.R.I. Hospital, Delhi.
He began his career as a Resident Doctor at AIIMS, Delhi, and has worked with numerous prestigious government and private institutions, handling complex cases. He has a strong interest in medical education, frequently publishing articles and sharing knowledge with students.
In 2019, Dr. Mittal was honored with the prestigious Atal Swasthya Bhushan Samman for his contributions to healthcare.
