He has over 28 years of experience in this field.
He specializes in Synchronous chemo- RT, Chronomodulated therapy, Reconstitution of tissues using hematopoietic stem cells, Dendritic cell therapy, and Chemo-target-immunotherapy.
He completed his MBBS from Snowdon Hospital IGMC Shimla in 1987 and MD in Radiation Oncology from SCB Cuttack Medical College in 1984.
After this, he also completed DM in Medical Oncology from Adyar Cancer Institute Chennai, in 1996
Dr. Puneet Gupta was the first senior faculty member in India to initiate the DNB program in Medical Oncology.
He was also the first to introduce a diploma in Psycho-Oncology in India through Amity University.
He played a key role in launching India’s first Diploma in Nursing Oncology and is currently working to establish the first Diploma in Pharmacology Oncology in the country.
Dr. Gupta was the first in India’s corporate sector to administer EGFR monoclonal antibodies for head and neck cancer and CD33 monoclonal antibodies for AML blood cancer.
He pioneered the use of arterial chemotherapy via arterial chemo pumps in India and has extensive experience in using hyperbaric oxygen therapy for cancer treatment.
His research includes reconstitution of cardiac tissues using hematopoietic stem cells, contributing to advancements in regenerative medicine.
He has published and presented original research in cancer therapy, nutrition, psychology, and pharmacology at prestigious international scientific platforms in Dubai, London, Hong Kong, San Antonio, Beijing, Ontario, Singapore, and Madagascar.
Dr. Gupta is the first in the world to introduce the Gupta Celittering Whole Body Imagery Cognitive Intervention, a technique designed to overcome existential crises and promote self-sustainability in challenging mental scenarios.
Dr. Puneet Gupta is an active member of several prestigious medical organizations, including the Indian Society for Radiation Biology and the Indo Global Health Care Research Foundation.
He is also associated with international medical bodies such as the European Society of Medical Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the European Society of Gene Therapy.
Additionally, he is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Sciences and a Life Member of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India.
