Dr. Gopi Chand Khilnani is a Pulmonologist, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Specialist with over 47 years of experience.
His expertise lies in treating various diseases like COPD, Asthma, and many other respiratory diseases.
He completed his MBBS in 1978 and MD in Medicine from the University of Rajasthan in 1982.
Dr. Khilnani completed a fellowship in critical care from Mount Sinai Medical School, New York, USA.
He served as Head and Professor in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Disorders at AIIMS, New Delhi.
Dr. Khilnani is the chairman of the credential committee of the Indian Society of Critical Care & Medicine and a member of the governing body of the Indian Chest Society.
He held leadership positions, including vice president of the National College of Chest Physicians (2007-2009), and president (2011-2013).
He has been a member of the American College of Chest Physicians’ Council of Regents for seven years and served on the Executive Council of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (2008-2010).
Dr. Khilnani is the senior editor of Critical Care: Lung India and is part of editorial boards of journals like the Journal of Critical Care Medicine and Indian Journal of Chest Disease and Allied Sciences.
