Prof. Dr. Omer Necip Aytug has an experience of more than 30 years as a Gastroenterologist
His core medical interests include functional GI disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases, stomach and intestinal motility disorders, and esophageal dysmotility.
Prof. Dr. Omer Necip Aytug graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1980 and completed his specialization in Internal Medicine in 1985.
He obtained his Gastroenterology specialization from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and was awarded the titles of Associate Professor in 1989 and Professor in 1998.
Throughout his career, he has focused on conditions such as functional gastrointestinal disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases, motility disorders of the stomach and intestines, esophageal dysmotility, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
He has actively participated in numerous national and international medical congresses, both in Turkey and abroad.
Prof. Dr. Aytug is a member of esteemed organizations including the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, Turkish Liver Diseases Research Association, and the Gastrointestinal Motility Association.
He has successfully performed a wide range of procedures and contributed significantly to the field of gastroenterology.
His current clinical services are offered in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.
He is associated with many medical societies including the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, the Turkish Liver Diseases Association, and the Motility Association.
He has published numerous research papers in reputed national and international journals.
